My name is Addie Gaegler. I’m majoring in information technology with a concentration in database tech and programming. I transferred to Mason from NOVA, and the resources and connections I’ve found at Mason have been incredibly helpful. Admittedly, I love learning, but I’m a total art history nerd and movie fanatic. Hiking and yoga also help me to stay balanced amidst a tech-heavy academic path. As a peer mentor, I’m so excited to meet new students and to help anyone who is facing a challenge. Remember: everybody struggles along the way, and we are here to help.

My name is Ahna Anaqi Mohiuddin. I am a sophomore majoring in cyber security engineering. I was born in Knoxville, Tennessee but grew up mostly abroad in Bangladesh. Here at Mason, I have been an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the Computer Science department since Spring 2019, and a Learning Assistant for the Math department since this fall. During my free time, I like painting, watching television shows and Bob Ross tutorials, and taking part in outdoor activities. While at Mason, I have met amazing professors and peers and I strongly believe that you will, too. Fall 2019 will be my first semester as a Peer Mentor, and I hope to be able to guide and help you in the best way I can!

Hello, my name is Brody Receveur, and I grew up in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I am majoring in statistics with a concentration in mathematical statistics. I’m in my junior year and have plenty of experience in mentoring students. My primary background is in math and statistics, but I can also help in science courses and various computer languages. In my free time, you can find me volunteering, playing tabletop or videogames, at the gym, cooking, playing guitar, or really doing anything geeky or nerdy. Hi, I’m Dylan Cianfrone. I’m a junior majoring in applied computer science with a concentration in video game design. I spend most of my time playing, designing, and building PC games. However, due to circumstances, the path changed for me and I fortunately ended up at George Mason University. With every change, good things are destined to happen. I’m an out of state student hailing from Boulder, Colorado who came to Mason based on its people, location, and curriculum. I currently live off-campus with my best friend and our three roommates. I was born in the Philippines and lived there for 10 years until moving to Canada in 2007. Now, I'm here in the United States to study at George Mason University. My hobbies include watching anime, playing video games, and collecting uncommon musical instruments (I am currently trying to learn the accordion!).
