Biography
Pouya Rezai, a fluid mechanics expert and a tenured associate professor of mechanical engineering, comes to the College of Engineering and Computing from York University in Ontario. His research centers on understanding the interactions between fluids and biological substances at nano- and micro-scales in micro-environments using devices that mimic biological mechanisms. Using this research, he helps develop devices such as sensors that can be used in human health and safety applications.
