Biography

Christi Wilcox is a higher education professional with extensive experience in cross-collaboration between higher education, community, corporate, and foundation partners. Her research and professional development, talent management, and strategic planning skills act in service of all the college’s students, faculty, and staff. As such, her systems and process thinking abilities are filtered through an inclusive lens to create comprehensive initiatives and programs that enhance individual and group capabilities.  

In her role, Christi supervises OSSE’s signature programs and events for students and faculty, pilots and initiates OSSEs broadening participation in STEM efforts, and collaborates with unit directors and departmental chairs on inclusion strategies for the development of engagement and retention efforts for CEC constituents, leadership accountability, coaching capabilities, action planning, and goal setting.

As a native of Nassau, Bahamas, Wilcox has a particular passion for international students and finding community in the university setting. She holds a bachelor's in international relations and politics (University of Sussex), an MBA (University of the West Indies – Mona), and an MFA in Creative Writing (Syracuse University).
